Hi 'Dale' :-)

It's advisable to allow around 10mS for any 4-20mA type electronics to ensure a reasonable settle time before taking a reading. Is this a battery operated installation where battery life is critical?

Can you advise why you need to measure the resistance of the sensor at zero pressure? If this is to calculate current consumption then this will be 4mA.

Cheers

I am trying to hook up a LMK 351 to a data logger that provides a 1 micro second pre-energize time before collecting a reading. Is this sufficient, or does this sensor require a longer warm up prior to reading. Also, I was wondering what resistance this sensor should read with 0 pressure.

Thanks,

Dale
