<p>The <strong><a title="DS Series range of three in one device, pressure transmitter, pressure switch and display" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/pressure-transmitters-with-display.htm" target="_blank">DS range of pressure transmitter, switch and display</a></strong> combination is a three-in-one multi-function pressure sensor with signal conditioning which gives a current or voltage output signal, 1, 2 or 4 x independent PNP transistor switch outputs and a freely scalable and programmable led rotatable display!  The potential for this device is a complete control system in a single device, cutting installation and equipment costs and configuration to your exact control requirements.</p>
<p>With pressure ranges spanning from 10mbar on the DS 210 through to 600 bar on the DS 200 within the DS series we should be able to cover all requirements on air pressure measurement and liquid pressure sensing alike.  The DS range will cover your requirements for an <a title="Air pressure transmitter and air pressure sensors" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/industrial-products-pressure.htm" target="_blank">air pressure transmitter</a>, oil pressure transmitter, hydraulic <a title="Pressure transmitter explanation page" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/exp-transmitter.htm" target="_blank">pressure transmitter</a> and also if it&#8217;s just a simple pressure switch that you require then this device will solve that requirement also.</p>
<p>There are several options available within the range including:</p>

<p>There&#8217;s also the option for a 3-wire 4-20mA configuration which allows for <a title="Pressure Calibration, UKAS Accredited" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/pressure-cal.htm" target="_blank">re-calibration</a> of the 4-20mA output signal, not only is the display scalable, the output is also!</p>
<p>The digital LED display on the device is freely rotatable through 2-axis so you will always be able to see the display clearly.  If installed on a vertical pipe horizontally then simply rotate the display through the body until it is face on and then rotate it on the display part so the readings are horizontal.  The brightness is also adjustable depending on the environment you are installing to.</p>

<p>Suitable for air pressure and non aggressive gases, the start of measurement is from as low as 10mbar through to 1000mbar Gauge reference only.  Vacuum pressure ranges also available.</p>

<p><strong><a title="DS 200 Silicon Pressure transmitter, switch, display" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/ds200-pressure-transmitter-switch-display.htm" target="_blank">The DS 200 &#8211; Stainless steel pressure sensor switch and display</a></strong></p>
<p>Suitable for Gases and Liquids compatible with the stainless steel media isolated diaphragm.  Pressure ranges from 100mbar through to 600 bar Gauge or Absolute reference, being based on a silicon pressure sensor with stainless steel diaphragm the over pressure capability is inherently higher and also the resolution is higher than the DS 201 with the ceramic pressure sensor.</p>
<p><strong><a title="DS230 OEM Pressure transmitter, switch, display" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/ds230-oem-pressure-transmitte-switch-display.htm" target="_blank">The DS 230 &#8211; OEM Digital pressure switch with display</a></strong></p>
<p>Suitable for Gases and Liquids compatible with the ceramic diaphragm and FKM internal O-ring seal.  Pressure ranges from 2 bar through to 400 bar Gauge reference only.  This is a lower cost version with less accuracy and no transmission of output, just purely a pressure switch and pressure display device targeted at OEM applications.</p>

<p>The <a title="IMP-LR Low range pressure transmitter datasheet!" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/D-IMP-LR.pdf" target="_blank">IMP-LR pressure transmitter</a> has been designed for applications where the <a title="IMP Industrial pressure transmitter datasheet!" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/D---IMP.pdf" target="_blank">IMP standard industrial pressure transmitter</a> cannot cater for the pressure ranges.  The IMP is limited to 500mbar as it uses a ceramic based piezo-resistive pressure sensor but the NEW IMP-LR offers pressure ranges from as low as 25mbar through to 1000mbar gauge, absolute ranges also available on request.</p>
<p>Based on an Oil filled isolated diaphragm <a title="Silicon pressure sensor products page!" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/pressure-sensor-elements.htm" target="_blank">silicon pressure sensor</a> the IMP-LR can offer accuracy of &lt;0.25% as standard with the option of linearity correcting to &lt;0.1% FS BFSL if required.  Being an isolated diaphragm <a title="Pressure sensors products page!" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/pressure-sensor-elements.htm" target="_blank">silicon pressure sensor</a> the transmitter can be used on both liquids and gases.  The sensor is installed in the stainless steel housing and sealed on an O ring which means by selecting the correct material these <a title="Pressure transmitters home page!" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/" target="_blank">pressure transmitters</a> be used on a wide variety of applications and medias.</p>
<p>The pressure transmitter is built in our <a title="Impress Sensors &amp; Systems Ltd Contact page" href="http://www.impress-sensors.co.uk/contact-details.htm" target="_blank">factory in Aldermaston</a> in a modular format so when required it is taken from stock pre-assembled.  We then calibrate the sensor using the automated calibration system via the ASIC based digital electronics.  This means there are no internal pots giving a very stable output with good long term stability.  The transmitter build is finished by simply selecting the correct electrical connector and issuing the calibration certificate which comes as standard with every sensor.  The choice of electrical connections include both small and large Hirschmann style plug &amp; sockets, M12 and binder connectors, IP66 and IP68 cable glands and MIL-Spec connectors also.</p>
<p>Available outputs include the standard 4-20mA current and a variety of voltages both ratiometric and non-ratiometric all of which are temperature compensated as standard.  The IMP-LR is also suitable for all types of installation and complies to the latest standards in CE, EMC and RFI protection.</p>
